The more like what you see on TV, the better - thus, it's nice to see things like Lita's new gimmick (her allegiance with the Hardyz), the biker Undertaker, the Right to Censor (complete with Steven Richards, a reformed Val Venis, and the Goodfather), Lo Down (the Chaz/D-lo team), and generally more precise renditions of all the wrestlers in the game. Well, no, actually - the primary appeal of a good wrestling game, and particularly a good WWF game, is the chance to step into the persona of your favorite superstar. After all, isn't the FMV the reason we want to play this game? New characters and new gimmicks have replaced older features, many characters have more moves and more appropriate movesets, and best of all, the wrestlers have their intro movies now. The latest version of WWF Smackdown 2: Know Your Role is far more polished and up-to-date than the one we've been playing, and an already good game is looking much, much better.
